Dismissed Cover Design

Over a year old, this design for a project has been long dismissed, but I like it otherwise. Since the project isn't a graphic novel and not Young Adult either, I just find it inappropriate.        
By the way, the "ghetto" refers to a race ghetto, as in, open air prison, Warsaw, Gaza Strip, not derogatory for black neighborhood.
