I thought when Nala and Zira met for the first time in Lion King II, it felz like their mutual disgust was personal. So how about this: during Scar's reign Nala and Zira were friends. When Mheetu was killed, Nala decided she couldn't stay. Zira, jealous of Nara's courage to just leave, felt that Nala betrayed her by leaving her behind, and also she wasn't entirely sure Scar was behind Mheetu's death. Nala was, and so were Chumvi and Tojo who decided to run before they, too, got killed. The night that Nala left, the hyenas were fighting over her brother's carcass. As pray was running low, Scar had decreed that no flesh be wasted, and so the lionesses had been kept from burying Mheetu. Zira makes one last attempt to convince Nala to stay, Nala refuses, and Zira, hurt, lunges at her.
Feeling alone (Nala had been the only other lion her age that was both still alive, and ready to accept the loner that was Zira), Zira needed someone new to believe in and Scar took her under his wing. That was how Zira became a loyal follower of Scar (for lack of other bonds) and Zira and Nala came to hate each-other.

ABOUT FACEBOOK AND OTHER USE!!!

I keep getting alerted to you people using my work without my permission on some 10,000 fan pages on Facebook about some canon or fan-made lion character or another. 

For one, I am grateful to the people alerting me to this because I like to keep track of my work.

Then again, I know there is no staying in control, especially with halfway decent work in a rather big fandom. 

Now, I have a very fair proposal: you can publish my Lion King work on a couple simple-as-fuck conditions to which there are NO EXCEPTIONS.
1. You always - ALWAYS - link back to my deviantART page.
2. You do not recolor or otherwise modify my work, or offer it as bases. HELL NO.
3. You do not misrepresent characters. No taking my Liron, for example, and saying "O hai, dis is Charihuluaristotledoctordramaslitwrist from my story". 

Do you think you can do that? Then you can upload my work without asking for my permission. If you can't, then please feel free to pull my gigantic butt cheeks apart and lick my arsehole, you thieving little shits.
